Our Farm
Established in 2020
Thank you for taking an interest in our farm! We are a small family farm in Central Virginia. We grow produce, raise honeybees, and performance Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats. We strive to breed Nigerians that will excel in the ring, Linear Appraisal, and in the milk pail. We don't use any sprays, even organic, on our produce. Instead, we companion plant, attract pollinators and other beneficial insectivorous insects and birds. We utilize trap crops and grow disease and pest resistant Non- GMO varieties that thrive in our region.
Our Story
Local Family Farm
In 2020, we bought our little slice of paradise in Central Virginia. Lauren had always wanted a farm, and we got right to planting fruit trees, bushes and perennials and fencing in 2000 square feet of garden space. In 2022, we brought home our first two Nigerian Dwarves, Blondie and Crystal. Goat math is very real, and we quickly realized we'd need a buck. In 2023, we entered our first ADGA sanctioned show and became a Performance Plus Herd. In 2023, we also welcomed our first honeybee colony to the farm.
2025 will be a big year for the farm! We plan to add a farm stand to offer produce, veggie starter plants, honey and goat's milk soaps and lotions. We will be attending lots of shows, and participate in Milk Test and Linear Appraisal. Thank you for coming along for the ride!
